This film began as a short piece about a parade on the Fourth of July and a satirical float celebrating world domination and then became a look at the role of the U.S. in the world, including the history of American attitudes of exceptionalism. This play by Marlene Winell was read by actors Denise Freestone and Waldo Jones for the opening of the art exhibit, From Holy to Whole in Fort Collins, CO. It depicts a confrontation between a retired fundamentalist minister and his grown daughter who has left the faith. They both struggle with the problem of loving each other on the human level while existing on different planes philosophically.
